Location: Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq

About the Role: We are offering a highly competitive salary for a skilled and experienced Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead the technical development and management of a commercial app platform. The ideal candidate will have exceptional expertise in Laravel, Flutter, and Next.js, as well as strong leadership capabilities to manage the development team and ensure the platform’s success.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq, and we welcome applications from highly experienced professionals, including those from Iran.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Take full responsibility for the technical aspects of the platform, including Design, development, release, and ongoing support.

• Hands-On Development: Actively participate in coding, focusing on critical tasks such as API development, application enhancements, and troubleshooting.

• Team Management: Lead and manage the development team, ensuring productivity and collaboration to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

• API Development: Develop robust and scalable Web and Mobile APIs using Laravel and MySQL.

• Application Development: Oversee and contribute to mobile app development with Flutter and web-based dashboards with Next.js.

• Third-Party Integrations: Implement third-party services, such as Laravel Reverb for real-time messaging and Google Maps for mobile apps.

• Code Quality & Maintenance: Ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code, optimizing Database queries and maintaining data integrity.

• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Proactively address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.

• Reporting & Accountability: Take responsibility for deadlines, feature rollouts, bug fixes, and overall technical progress, reporting directly to stakeholders.
