Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deploy ML models to optimize delivery routing, reduce costs, and improve ETA accuracy.
• Implement demand forecasting algorithms to enhance fleet allocation and warehouse inventory predictions.
• Optimize vehicle dispatching models using reinforcement learning or decision-tree-based approaches.
• Create anomaly detection algorithms for identifying delivery delays, failed deliveries, and operational inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, and Operations) to integrate AI-driven solutions into the logistics platform.
• Ensure scalability and efficiency of machine learning pipelines in production.
• Stay updated with ML advancements and apply them to last-mile delivery and logistics challenges.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying ML models in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
• Experience with time-series forecasting, optimization algorithms, and predictive modeling.
• Expertise in decision tree-based models (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM) and anomaly detection.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases for handling large-scale logistics data.
• Hands-on experience with API development using FastAPI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for ML model deployment.
• Strong understanding of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills in English.
Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of graph-based models for delivery network optimization.
• Experience with real-time machine learning inference systems.
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain dynamics.
