Role Details
- Position: Senior Website Designer (UI/UX)
- Type: Full-time, Remote
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week (Sunday off)
- Location: Global (remote role)
- Collaboration: Daily communication with the team via meetings, Slack/Discord, Figma, Notion, etc.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end website design: discovery, information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes, and handoff.
- Translate brand guidelines and product goals into pixel-perfect, responsive layouts that perform across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Design conversion-focused pages (marketing sites, landing pages, product pages) grounded in UX best practices and clear hierarchy.
- Specify interactions and micro-animations (motion principles, hover/scroll states, transitions) and provide implementation notes to developers.
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG) and strong content readability through typography, contrast, and spacing.
- Partner closely with developers for smooth handoff (assets, redlines, specs) and visual QA before launch.
- Stay ahead of modern web aesthetics, UX patterns, and competitive design trends.
Core Expertise
- Elite UI/UX craft: layout, grids, typography, color, spacing, and visual rhythm.
- Figma mastery (components, variants, auto-layout, prototypes, design systems).
- Visual storytelling and strong brand translation into cohesive web experiences.
- Understanding of CRO principles (above-the-fold strategy, clarity, trust, social proof, friction reduction).
Professional & Soft Skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent communication skills.
- Confident in leading discussions, presenting ideas, and collaborating in English with international teammates.
- Strong project/time management skills able to work independently while hitting deadlines.
- Able to work efficiently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points
- Branding and graphic design experience.
- Familiarity (not required) with HTML/CSS to communicate effectively with devs.
- Experience designing for large-scale SaaS or product marketing sites.
- Comfort using analytics/heatmaps to inform iterative improvements.
