We’re looking to expand our Marketing Department with a creative, detail-oriented multimedia expert who can bring ideas to life through video, sound, animation, and visual design.
This role is all about taking raw content, ideas, or messages and turning them into engaging videos, clean audio, and smooth animations — sometimes for social, sometimes for landing pages, and often just to make our brand feel more alive.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll work directly with our Marketing Manager and wider team. We'll give you the content, context, and direction — you'll bring the creative magic and technical skills to turn that into awesome marketing assets.
Some things you might work on:
- Editing videos for product launches, social content, explainer clips, or interviews
- Engineer clean and professional audio/voiceovers, including noise reduction, syncing audio, and adding music or sound effects
- Creating simple animations and motion graphics (especially Lottie or lightweight web-friendly animations)
- Designing visuals like thumbnails, YouTube covers, blog banners, or in-video graphics
- Turning basic input (scripts, audio, slides, or rough ideas) into well-structured, visually compelling content
- Pitching ideas, experimenting with different visual directions, and thinking creatively
- Using AI tools when it makes your life easier (we're not against it — we're curious)
- Collaborating with the marketing manager and other team members to align on goals and vision
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in video editing and post-production (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
- Strong audio editing and sound engineering skills (e.g., Audition, Logic Pro, etc.)
- Proficiency with 2D animation and motion graphics (e.g., After Effects, Lottie, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and/or other graphic design tools
- Ability to structure and communicate visual storytelling concepts independently
- Comfortable receiving content briefs in English and communicating in English (written and spoken)
- A strong creative mindset and attention to detail
Nice to Have (But Totally Learnable):
- Some familiarity with Canadian or North American culture, digital trends, and their content styles
- Worked in tech, marketing, or startup content teams before
- Know a bit about how animations get used on the web (Lottie, SVG, etc.)
What It's Like to Work With Us
We're an easygoing but driven team. You'll have room to be creative, experiment, pitch ideas, and learn new things. No micromanaging. Just honest collaboration, respect for your craft, and meaningful work that supports real clients and products. In essence, you'll get:
- A flexible, remote-friendly work environment
- A chance to bring your creativity into real-world campaigns
- Supportive teammates who love building cool stuff and growing together
- A clear lane to own the multimedia side of our marketing content
Please, send us your CV, a few examples of your best work (videos, animations, audio projects, showreels, links, portfolios — whatever shows your range), and a quick note about what caught your eye in this post.
We're excited to see what you can do!
