Aria Sepehr Shimi Company needs a production planner in the fields of petroleum derivatives, cosmetic and health products, and beauty line to complete its team.
Organizational position:
Reporting directly to: Production Manager.
Close cooperation with: Sales, Supply, Quality Control, Warehouse, Product Development, and R&D units.
Job objective:
Precise, optimal, and realistic planning of cosmetic and health product production processes in order to meet customer orders on time, effectively manage resources, and maintain productivity in production lines in line with health standards and legal requirements.
Main duties:
Production planning:
Prepare and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders, demand forecasting, and production line capacity.
Determine production priorities based on delivery time, customer importance, expiration date, and material storage conditions.
Precise scheduling for the production of finished products, semi-finished products, and pilot production in coordination with the R&D department.
Raw Material and Packaging Management:
Prepare a Material Requirements Plan (MRP) for each production plan.
Check raw material and packaging inventory, forecast shortages, and send purchase requests on time.
Coordinate with the supply unit to ensure timely and quality delivery of required materials.
Inventory and Capacity Control:
Control inventory of finished products, semi-finished products, and production waste.
Analyze production capacity, manpower, machinery, and equipment to provide a realistic plan.
Monitor actual material consumption and comply with the consumption standard defined in the BOM (Bill of Materials).
Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze daily production performance compared to the plan and identify discrepancies.
Prepare statistical and analytical reports for production management and overall company management.
Propose corrective actions to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and reduce downtime.
Inter-unit coordination:
Effective coordination with the quality control unit for inter-process testing (IPQC) and quality monitoring during production.
Interact with sales team to align orders and production schedule.
Collaborate with product development and R&D team to plan production of prototypes or change formulas.
Compliance with standards and legal requirements:
Ensure compliance of planning with GMP principles, ISO 22716 standards and FDA requirements.
Accurately document planning and production steps for internal and external audits.
Attend audit meetings and respond to regulatory bodies regarding planning and production processes.
Qualification requirements:
At least a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering, applied chemistry or industrial management.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning in the cosmetic, health, pharmaceutical or food industries.
Experience working with ERP/MRP software (such as SAP, Oracle, Sepidar or system partners).
Specialized skills:
Full mastery of the concepts of production planning, inventory control, BOM, Lead Time and capacity measurement.
Familiarity with the production process of cosmetic and health products (liquid, semi-solid, powder, etc.).
Ability to work with advanced Excel software, Power BI or other reporting tools.
Proficient in documentation and SOP processes and production planning forms.
