We are looking for an experienced Sales Accounting Manager to oversee and enhance our sales accounting operations. This role involves managing sales-related financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and leading a team to optimize revenue recognition and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of sales accountants.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
- Provide training and development opportunities for the team.
- Oversee the recording and reconciliation of all sales transactions.
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
- Review contracts, pricing, and payment terms to ensure alignment with accounting standards.
- Prepare and present detailed sales performance and revenue reports to senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement enhancements to sales accounting workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits related to sales and revenue.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations and corporate policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks within the sales process.
Requirments:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales accounting or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and standards.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
