Accounting Trainee (Consultant Contract)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Trainee to join our finance team. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about learning, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and updating financial records

• Support in preparing invoices, expense reports, and payment documents

• Help reconcile bank statements and verify financial transactions

• Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation

• Assist the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing activities

• Conduct basic financial analysis under the supervision of senior accountants

• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Current student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP is a plus)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills

• Eagerness to learn and develop accounting knowledge

• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage, but not required
