Role Summary:
As the Senior Business Developer for KYC, you will lead business development efforts to enhance the KYC (Know Your Customer) function by identifying, negotiating, and onboarding new partners. You will drive strategic initiatives, form alliances, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. You will work cross-functionally with the product, legal, and tech teams to ensure that the KYC products remain competitive and innovative. Strong communication channels must be established with KYC-360 business line owner.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute business strategies to grow partnerships within the KYC ecosystem in Iran.
· Participate in dedicated product roadmap development, OKR setting sessions, KPIs’ enhancements, and execution plan derivation.
· Define head count requirements and prepare KYC line budget forecasts.
· Lead end-to-end negotiation processes with external KYC providers and regulatory bodies.
· Stay ahead of regulatory changes to ensure full compliance with AML and KYC requirements.
· Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, tech) to integrate external solutions into existing KYC systems and products.
· Define go-to-market strategies for new KYC-related products based on prerequisite studies.
· Represent the company in key industry events, promoting the KYC function as a core competency.
· Analyze customer needs to refine KYC offerings and adapt to emerging trends.
Skills & Requirements:
· 5+ years of business development experience in fintech or related KYC sectors in banking or financial industries.
· Proven track record of developing and closing deals with financial institutions.
· Strong understanding of KYC processes, AML regulations, and compliance in Iran.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Fluent in English and Persian.
· Comfortable with MS Office products especially PowerPoint and Excel
