Job Overview:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the entire product lifecycle. Working closely with the Director of Product, various technical leads, and the management team, you’ll capture and evaluate business and stakeholder requirements, communicate the product vision and scope, plan the roadmap (considering dependencies and risks), monitor development progress, and ultimately deliver value to end users. You will also serve as the Product Owner, utilising ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) to manage workflows, backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of product features.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full Product Lifecycle Ownership
- Capture requirements and demands from internal business teams and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate, prioritise, and communicate these requirements to the development team.
- Define, refine, and maintain product vision and scope.
- Roadmap Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage product roadmaps, considering dependencies, risks, and overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Product, technical leads, and the management team to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Product Backlog & Ticketing
- Serve as the Product Owner, creating and refining user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tasks in Jira (or similar tools).
- Continuously prioritise and groom the backlog to align with strategic goals and stakeholder feedback.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate product vision, progress, and updates to key stakeholders, setting realistic expectations and gathering feedback.
- Coordinate with various business units to ensure requirements are well-defined and properly addressed.
- Data-Driven Decisions & Metrics
- Define key metrics to measure product success (e.g., user engagement, feature adoption).
- Use analytics, market insights, and stakeholder feedback to guide prioritization and product enhancements.
- UX & Qualitative Research
- Conduct or coordinate user interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative research.
- Collaborate with designers and researchers to incorporate insights into product roadmaps and feature prioritization.
- Combine both quantitative data and user feedback to create a holistic understanding of customer needs.
- Value Delivery
- Ensure the final product meets or exceeds user expectations and business goals.
- Drive continuous improvements post-launch, remaining focused on delivering tangible value.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced English Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English to handle complex business and technical discussions.
- Product Management Experience: Proven track record in a Product Manager (or similar) role, ideally within SaaS, AI, or technology-focused environments.
- Technical Acumen: Comfortable understanding and discussing technical concepts with engineers; experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Backlog & Workflow Management: Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Trello) to manage sprints and product backlogs.
- Agile Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to define, track, and analyze KPIs, using insights to inform product decisions.
- UX & User Research: Experience with user interviews, usability testing, or other forms of qualitative research to inform product enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Product Management Certification: e.g., CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), or similar.
- Experience with AI-driven Platforms: Familiarity with building or managing AI-based features and products.
- UX/UI Awareness: Understanding of design best practices, user-centric principles, and how to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- FinTech Background: While not required, any familiarity with financial or compliance-related products can be helpful.
