Negative Five Ventures is a venture studio building an interconnected ecosystem of startups in gaming, AI, and Web3. We actively support our portfolio companies with talent, investors, and global founder connections.
We are now creating a Netherlands Startup Visa Sourcing Unit to find and onboard individuals who want to join our portfolio startups as co-founders, contributors, or investor-participants through the Dutch Startup Visa program.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Startup Visa Talent & Investor Sourcing Specialist whose main responsibility is to discover, screen, and match people who want to join the Netherlands Startup Visa pathway through N5 portfolio companies.
This is a sourcing and matchmaking role — connecting global talent and investor-minded individuals with Dutch startups in our ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, identify, and engage talents, co-founders, angel contributors, and investor-participants for the Netherlands Startup Visa program
- Conduct active outreach across startup communities, online platforms, talent databases, and international markets
- Screen candidate profiles and match them with suitable N5 portfolio startups
- Explain the Startup Visa pathway and guide candidates on basic requirements (documents, proof of funds, role fit)
- Coordinate calls between candidates and founders
- Maintain a structured pipeline and track each candidate’s progress
- Support N5 leadership in building and scaling the Startup Visa sourcing unit
Requirements
- Experience in recruitment, founder scouting, business development, community building, or talent acquisition
- Understanding of startup dynamics and early-stage team building
- Strong communication skills in English
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple candidates
- Comfortable working remotely across time zones
- Proactive, fast learner, and solution-oriented
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the Dutch Startup Visa or Dutch startup ecosystem
- Previous experience sourcing founders or investors
- Knowledge of EU immigration processes (not required)
