Quality Control Functional Test Engineer (Vendor)

Roles & Responsibilities
Execute function /automation / API and performance test based on written test plan
Update and maintain test plans based on different phase of project
Work with quality tools, and test management tools
Functional Test plan & Test strategy & non-functional test requirement gathering
Knowledge sharing with team and document it and keep it updated
Document new processes and keep them updated
Provide support and documentation for quality-related processes.
Review and analyse user stories/requirement documents for validity and feasibility.
Be able to do API testing, performance test and Manual test
Be able to work as a team member, within a big team works
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
Knowledge of different test approach, test design & test planning (ISTQB standard knowledge)
Experience in API testing by standard tools (Like Postman, SOAP UI, Burp, Swagger, …)
Regression test manually on Application, Website, Web services, …
Unit test review and analysis
API testing for any type of the technology like (SOAP, Rest, WebSocket, …)
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Prioritize and plan testing activities.
Identify, report, and track software issues and defects.
Administration of user acceptance testing
Team must be expert all type of different project delivery methods like Waterfall, Agile, DevOps etc.
Provide Test Planning, Test design, Test data Preparation, Manual test execution, System and Integration
To collaborate with related PMO and Architecture teams in managing the projects related to the assigned domain of responsibility.
To determine, negotiate, and agree on in-house ITS quality procedures, standards, and/or specifications within the ITS and relevant stakeholders and vendors.
To identify and assess MTN Irancell Business Units ITS related quality requirements & concerns and ensure that they are all met.
To establish and update a business model for information system quality and metrics within the MTN Irancell context, consistent with high performance.
To establish and maintain the ITS quality control SLAs for MTN Irancell Business Units, Vendors/Suppliers.
To plan and establish quality requirements, test cases, and testing materials in collaboration with suppliers/vendors and MTN Irancell stakeholders and relevant quality tools to ensure the agreed quality level of ITS products and Services.
To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure compliance and/or adherence to MTN Irancell Systems/Services quality Standards and ensure that ITS P&S development and testing processes comply with standards at both national and international levels.
To collaborate with ITS operation teams, PMOs, and Architects to establish standards, systems, and procedures to prevent potential risk or quality issues during testing processes.
To align quality control assigned domain with the MTN Irancell demand management lifecycle process (from requirement gathering until post-implementation test), delivery, implementation, and deployment plans.
To set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures for ITS quality and testing point of way and develop a feedback mechanism so that learning from testing is deployed back into practice.
To establish and update a business model for information system quality and metrics within the MTNIRANCELL context, consistent with high performance.
To manage ITS testing teams to ensure that appropriate testing techniques are employed, and testing occurs within the framework of the model.
To validate test plans and test scenarios as per the agreed framework within ITS and vendors.
To manage different levels of testing, including internal, integration, user acceptance, and post-implementation test, and ensure they have been done with acceptable quality and raised issues during the test are addressed appropriately.
To manage all changes in the user acceptance test environment and ensure its availability for business.
To resolve ITS quality control problems/concerns with customers, test teams, or other staff related to the production of P&S.
To ensure availability, reliability, and quality of testing systems through aggressive monitoring.
To provide daily or project-based reports to make test progress and challenges evident to management and related stakeholders.
To compile various quality management reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage nonconformity material discrepancy reports, quality of solutions in use or to be used, etc. and recommend continuous improvement activities.

Education
BSc in Information Technology, Industrial engineering or related

Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT environment; with experience in supervising/managing others.
Experience working in a medium to large organization.
Minimum 3 years in a quality consultancy role.
