Implementation Plan Step 1: Selection of API The APIs pertaining to various functionalities should be selected and extracted from the public repository as mentioned in the note below and will be used for our work. (100-200 APIs for testing) Step 2: Installation of Testing Tools   In this step, the below mentioned testing tools will be downloaded from the appropriate links and installed.  ·         RESTler Fuzzer - github.com/microsoft/restler-fuzzer  ·       ·Burp Suite Intruder - portswigger.net/burp  ·        ·TnT-Fuzzer - github.com/Teebytes/TnT-Fuzzer  Step 3: Configuration of Test Tools In this step, initial configuration process should be carried out for each testing tool with respect to APIs. This step also involves the customizations required for facilitating the seamless testing process considering the variety of APIs. Step 4: Execution of Tests In this step, the actual API testing process should be carried out using the above mentioned tools. The details such as vulnerabilities, types, testing time,  false positive rate, false negative rate should be recorded.  Step 5: Performance Evaluation The following parameters should be evaluated for each of the tool 1. Detection Rate 2.Speed  3. Accuracy 4. Coverage etc Step 6: Comparison of the Tools Performance In this step, the results obtained with respect to each tool should be visualized and compared.
