We’re looking for a Commercial Category Management Lead to join our growing commercial team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a defined category or group of hotel partners, working closely with local teams, product, and operations to shape offerings, optimize performance, and drive growth. This role is ideal for someone with strong business acumen, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, and a hands-on approach to commercial data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Own the performance of a portfolio of hotel partners across selected regions or categories
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to improve offerings, pricing, and availability
- Partner with city leads to identify local opportunities and shape penetration initiatives
- Monitor competitive dynamics and respond with tailored commercial actions
- Break down complex commercial challenges into structured solutions with clear execution plans
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance speed, consistency, and outcomes
- Write and run SQL queries to independently access and analyze relevant data
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in category management, commercial operations, or a similar business or commercial role
- Strong commercial judgment and understanding of market dynamics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to juggle multiple initiatives, prioritize effectively, and deliver results
- Proactive, structured problem-solver with a bias for action
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, or BI tools
