Responsibilities :
- Expertise in designing and building the Jira infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and scaling of Jira applications in cloud or on-premise environments.
- Proficiency in setting up and managing Jira workflows, schemes, and customizations to support organizational processes.
- Experience in creating and maintaining automation rules using Jira Automation or scripting tools like ScriptRunner (Groovy).
- Strong understanding of system architecture, server configurations, and performance optimization for Jira environments.
- Knowledge of integrating Jira with other tools, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and third-party applications via APIs or plugins.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python, or JavaScript) to develop custom solutions and automate processes.
- Familiarity with database management and querying Jira’s backend systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- In-depth understanding of security protocols to manage roles, permissions, and user access effectively.
- Experience with migration projects, including transitioning Jira instances between server and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies to align Jira configurations with team workflows and organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Jira Administration, including workflow design, scheme management, and customizations.
- Hands-on experience with plugins like ScriptRunner, Tempo, Zephyr, or other Atlassian Marketplace tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) for automation and customization.
- Familiarity with Jira API for integrations and custom solutions.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in database queries (e.g., SQL) and familiarity with Jira backend systems.
- Knowledge of system administration tasks, including server configuration and cloud hosting.
