The Product Designer at Karnameh plays a critical role in shaping user experiences across our digital products. This role works closely with Product Managers and Engineers to identify user problems, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality experiences from discovery through launch and continuous iteration.
Responsibilities:
● Own design initiatives end-to-end: from problem framing and discovery to delivery, release, and continuous iteration.
● Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape solutions, define scope, and balance user, business, and technical needs.
● Design and refine complex user flows and multi-scenario experiences, simplifying complexity into clear, usable solutions.
● Translate user research insights, data, and business goals into thoughtful, scalable, and user-centered design outcomes
● Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, evaluations) to validate assumptions and inform decisions.
● Design high-quality interfaces and interaction patterns aligned with Karnameh’s product and brand principles.
● Contribute to and evolve the design system and component library to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
● Collaborate closely with front-end engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and with high quality.
● Advocate for users throughout the product development lifecycle and effectively communicate their needs to stakeholders
● Review shipped features, analyze outcomes, extract learnings, and continuously improve the experience.
● Participate actively in design critiques, giving and receiving constructive feedback to raise overall design quality.
● Clearly communicate design decisions, rationale, trade-offs, and impact to cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
● 5+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI), preferably on mobile and complex, high-traffic digital products.
● A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership, problem-solving skills, and shipped digital products.
● Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
● Proven experience designing complex flows and multi-scenario experiences.
● Strong component-based design mindset with hands-on experience using design systems at scale. Experience contributing to, maintaining, or evolving design systems is a plus.
● Excellent visual design skills, including layout, typography, and color.
● Advanced proficiency in Figma (experience with other design or prototyping tools is a plus).
● Strong analytical thinking with the ability to simplify and optimize complex user journeys.
● Good understanding of technical constraints and how design decisions translate into implementation.
● Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional, fast-moving team.
