Accountant / Finance Controller

Key Competencies:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economy or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Zoho Accounting Software Expertise: Proficient in Zoho Books for managing daily bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Skilled in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- VAT Filing & Tax Compliance: Eager to learn UAE VAT filing and compliance, able to coordinate with local regulations and submit accurate tax returns in collaboration with our external accounting agency in Dubai.
- Financial Controlling: Experience in budgeting, cost control, variance analysis, and reporting to support business decisions and financial planning.
- HR & Payroll Administration: Hands-on experience with HR support, maintaining employee records, processing Zoho Payroll, managing leaves, and handling onboarding documentation via Zoho People or similar tools.
- External Agency Coordination: Excellent communication skills to liaise remotely with external accounting firms in Dubai and provide them with accurate data, reconciliations, and reports.
- Remote Work Readiness: Comfortable with remote collaboration tools (Teams) and maintaining a high level of productivity, accountability, and data confidentiality in a distributed work environment. Collaboration with our headquarter in Dubai.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic work setting.
- Adaptability & Initiative: Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs and tools.
