Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices to power client applications.
- Optimize backend architecture for performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (TDD/BDD).
- Integrate with third-party services, databases, and external APIs.
- Implement and manage authentication, authorization, and security protocols.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
- Ensure applications are developed with high availability and robustness, supporting rapid scaling and traffic growth.
Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of Python and related frameworks including using Django, DRF, and FastAPI.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with building and consuming APIs (RESTful).
- Database design and management experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar RDBMS.
- Experience with Docker (or FreeBSD jail) containerized applications.
- Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and working in collaborative, agile environments.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, UnitTest) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and API security protocols.
