Jabama is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to join us. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our user experience, crafting intuitive and user-centric designs that drive business success.
Responsibilities:
- Translate user research and business goals into functional, and user-friendly UI designs.
- Champion a user-centric approach, ensuring the user's needs are at the forefront of every design decision.
- Advocate for the user throughout the design process, effectively communicating their needs to stakeholders.
- Possess a strong understanding of UI design principles and best practices.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, identifying user pain points and developing creative solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, business manager, UX researchers, data analysts) to bring design visions to life.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the design process.
- Stay up-to-date on design trends and technologies, continuously improving design practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality, user-centric designs.
- In-depth understanding of UI design principles and best practices (e.g., user interface (UI) design, interaction design, information architecture).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve user pain points.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of business fundamentals and how design can impact business goals.
- A passion for creating user-centered experiences that are both usable and functional.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Figma).
- Experience with design systems and UI libraries a plus.
