Responsibilities
- Design & Build: Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a focus on performance, reliability, and clean architecture.
- Architecture: Lead and influence architectural decisions across services and systems.
- Execution: Break down complex requirements into clear, executable tasks.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support mid-level and junior developers.
- Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, providing thoughtful and constructive technical feedback.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive long-term fixes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Standards: Contribute to improving engineering standards, workflows, and overall development quality.
- Tech Stack: Work with core technologies such as C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Redis, RabbitMQ, microservices, Docker, Git, REST, and gRPC.
Requirements
- Core Competencies
- Strong ownership, accountability, and self-management.

- Ability to perform under pressure and navigate complex systems.
- Technical Skills
- Deep experience with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
- Strong understanding of database design, SQL, and T-SQL.
- Experience with Entity Framework and Dapper (or similar ORM/Micro-ORM technologies).
- Proficiency with caching mechanisms and distributed data stores, specifically Redis.
- Experience designing event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging systems using RabbitMQ.
- Solid knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience with REST and gRPC; understanding of GraphQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (Unit, Integration, TDD concepts).
- Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Docker and containerized development.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization.
- Experience with tools like Swagger, Postman, and profiling/debugging utilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JS) for cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp).
