Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Tehran. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards, and support the finance department in reporting and auditing processes.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements and reports.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/ACCA certification is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Iranian tax laws and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or local ERP systems).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Fluent in Persian; proficiency in English is a plus.
