Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in data analysis, data modeling, and database management, paired with excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration. In this role, you’ll work on a range of projects—from independently managing small-scale initiatives to supporting leaders on larger operational projects impacting various team members and providers. Your focus will be on translating business challenges into data-driven insights while ensuring high-quality, accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Validation:
- Review and verify the accuracy of data, ensuring the highest quality in reports and insights.
- Analysis and Reporting:
- Manage data analysis activities and develop comprehensive dashboards.
- Provide actionable business insights based on analytical findings.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, offering insights into ongoing projects and key business epics.
- Project Coordination:
- Define, schedule, and prioritize project tasks while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Manage smaller projects independently, ensuring timely delivery on agreed milestones.
- Analytical Techniques:
- Apply statistical methods and medium-level machine learning techniques to identify trends and generate insights.
- Big Data & Optimization:
- Work with large data sets to identify efficiency and optimization opportunities.
- Data Aggregation and Cleaning:
- Aggregate, clean, and study data for projects, ensuring it meets mid-level analysis requirements.
- Code Development:
- Develop and maintain code using SQL, Python, and relevant tools for efficient data manipulation and analysis.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis within a similar industry or role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with statistical tools and techniques to provide appropriate analyses.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert business challenges into data-related solutions.
- Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration:
- Demonstrated teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence decision-making with data-driven insights.
- Additional Attributes:
- A clear understanding of competitive landscapes and industry trends.
- Good product vision to identify the key metrics and KPIs necessary for business success.
- Data Visualization:
- Proficiency in tools such as Tableau or Power BI for creating dynamic dashboards.
- Advanced Analytics:
- Medium-level proficiency in utilizing machine learning techniques and tools for solving business problems.
- Technical Translation:
- Experience translating business requirements into clear technical specifications.
