DescriptionWallex is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop our engineering team. This role requires a balance of technical and managerial expertise to ensure that our projects run smoothly and that our engineers have the support they need to succeed. As an Engineering Manager, you will work closely with product managers, technical leads, and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions in the fintech space.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.Provide technical guidance, support, and leadership to the engineering team, helping to resolve complex technical challenges.Implement agile methodologies and encourage best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within scope.Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure successful project delivery and address any issues that arise.Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent, contributing to a positive team culture.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.Strong knowledge of software development processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum), and project management.Experience with technologies such as Golang, PHP, or other programming languages relevant to our tech stack.Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams to achieve technical and project goals.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.Experience in the fintech sector is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive SalaryTraining & DevelopmentPrivate Health InsuranceAttractive benefit Package (Family, Health, Entertainment)breakfast and lunchHybrid workplaceflexible working hours
