Bugloos is looking for a talented and strategic Business Data Analyst to join our growing Center of Excellence (CoE) team. In this role, you will be a key driver in shaping our data-driven culture, empowering teams across the organization to make smarter, faster decisions.
As a Business Data Analyst, you will not only build powerful dashboards and models but also act as a consultant and mentor, helping to define best practices and ensure data quality across the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide strategic insights.
- Develop, maintain, and publish scalable dashboards and data models using various BI tools to track key performance indicators and business health.
- Define and document BI best practices, standards, and governance procedures to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Provide training, mentorship, and support to colleagues to foster data literacy and promote a data-driven mindset.
- Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, solve complex business problems, and communicate findings through compelling data storytelling.
- Work within an agile framework to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.

- BI Tools: Strong proficiency with at least one major BI platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
- Databases & Query Languages: Advanced proficiency in SQL is a must.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and scripting is a plus.
- Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) is highly desirable.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
- Version Control: Experience with Git or similar tools.
